Nameplates. Remember the Bronco SPORT ?!? That’s an extension of the nameplate. I expect to see more CAFE-enhancing FWD hybrids & PHEVs with felt underbody pans and low profile 60 series tires on 22“ rims.
This whole nameplate business has gotten completely out of hand.

Since ford decided to turn our precious bronco into a brand, I've seen all manner of bronco shenanigans on FB marketplace:

-80s Bronco 2 "Bronco sport"
-88 bronco "first edition"
-90s bronco BADLANDS
-1979 heritage edition

I wish I would have screenshoted, but it's wild out there

So if OHV no longer means overhead valve but off highway vehicle, is ORV "on road vehicle?

And isn't past time for the following versions?

Bronco Harley-Davidson
Bronco King Ranch
Bronco Timberland
Bronco Eddie Bauer

Or are they "extending" the nameplate to include Bronco Baby Sport. Certainly won't be a Bronco with a pickup bed although IMHO there ought to be

What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Just reading through but you are the one who asked for "talk to me like I'm 5"

To your point press releases never deliver the goods but.....it's a rare 5 year old that comprehends that and since do you get a gold star

Where are they going to fit an under-hood compressor? I could barely get a battery tender in

If memory serves...the Sport nameplate was first to advertise (horse raised by goats) AND first to market. There is way too much animosity towards the "sport" cousins.

Maybe they'll extend the Mustang name beyond its two variants --'anyone up for a Mustang Ranchero?

I'd buy one before a "Sport".

someone may have already mentioned this somewhere in this thread........ With Ford now offering a 2" lift it gives us more ammo to say my 2" lifted truck should have 0 warranty denials due to the lift. Of course there is still room for well it's not a Ford lift claim, however this opens the door at least

This is my thoughts exactly. Sure you can get a possibly better lift for a more affordable price outside of Ford BUT they will deny any warranty claims you try and make and say it was the non-Ford aftermarket lift that caused the issue.
