The engine cover has a textured finish that should hold paint really well... all I did was a wipe down with isopropyl alcohol.

I bought a 6 inch wide roll of XPEL PPF Film and did the entire door sills before installing Havoc Offroad Door Sill Protectors on top of the PPF.

Spruced up the interior with some blue accent bling. Some Chinese Amazon stuff like dash pad covers, cup holder inserts, an aluminum knob set, & blue nylon web roll bar grab handles and some Mabett offerings like the center console armrest cover & glovebox organizer. I got Ford floor mats for the vinyl floor; nice to be able to just pull the mat out with the dirt & mud and hose it off. Extreme cases will require using the floorboard drains and hosing down the vinyl floor along with the mats.

Installed Oracle Flush LED Tail Lights with the tinted lens this morning. Install was pretty simple and plug & play with the Black Diamond non-LED tail lights. Going to check out how bright the back up lights are after dark tonight. Might not need auxillery back up lights if these things are bright enough.

I am going to keep the suspension stock for now at least, the Sasquatch will do everything I need. May upgrade the exhaust... the damn muffler is bigger than the gas tank.

Replaced my Havoc 2 door sill protectors with some off of Amazon that do not wrap around to interfere with the door seal making the doors harder to close. These are a generic car rubber four piece set; "SINGARO Car Door Threshold Protection (23.6x2.36 inch)" and only $17. Not as much protection as the Havoc, but longer and has adhesive on the entire back, not just three strips like the Havoc. New one with red adhesive backing vs. the Havoc with three strips directly above it in the second photo.

KRAKEN got some new rubber, stock SAS size, 315/70R17 NITTO Ridge Grapplers... and if you notice in the photos there is no gravel in the treads... yeah. I like the SAS wheels, but did not care for the bright shiny aluminum trim rings. Had the trim rings powder coated a light gray to tone them down... very subtle difference, especially in the sunlight, but much better to me. I am liking the tires so far... the ride is good and the tires are not loud.

What did you think of the Votex, The Spartan, 13 3/4 inch rubber Antenna with blue carbon fiber trim? I saw you removed it later...

No, I still have it. Not sure how good it is, I listen to SIRIUS/XM mostly.

Finished my custom DIY rally stripes... still have to do the rocker panels. Turned out pretty good for a rookie. My first time applying vinyl... they make it look so easy in the videos. It has a few very minor flaws... nothing a little dirt won't mask. Applied the vinyl dry using knifeless tape to lay out the stripes. Lots of good Youtube videos out there. I watched a bunch of them and thought I was an expert... not!

I used 3M Vinyl - 3M 1080 Matte Indigo Blue & 3M 2080 Matte Deep Black

Rocker panels will be a matching Black stripe over Indigo bottom.
