WOO! THE BRONCO STORK ARRIVED!

My ladyfriend and I thought the Bronco ordering and waiting process felt like maternity (e.g. email updates, photos), so we've done social media posts announcing things like confirmation, build date, a "color reveal," etc. Well, our "baby" arrived Wednesday, at a weight of 4,286 lbs and is 173.7 inches.

Black Diamond, 2 door, advanced 4x4. No other options, in Velocity Blue. We're also starting a YouTube channel, which has our "color reveal," but is otherwise rudimentary - just a pretty sad attempt at a pickup video. Once we get going, maybe we'll pump out some good content because my emergency fund got blown up by this Bronco, and I need to replenish it. Dave Ramsey would not be happy with me right now.

Definitely wasn't the smartest financial move I've ever made, but I bought it outright. No payments. Course...I puked in my mouth a little when I clicked send on the wire transfer.

I just wrote out a check for mine.

Apparently my dealership managed to piss off one customer so he came back the next and paid for a new F-150 in cash. Took them 3 hours to count the bills.

Wire was easy, though.

We'll get to that photo eventually. Ladyfriend lives 2 hours away (long story), and I have to get the Bronco in for PPF before I drive it on these Colorado roads.

She’s a beauty !! Mazel Tov on your new arrival. Totally agree with your baby anology . When I got the pic from Ford with mine completed on assembly line I said to my wife , “ it’s like a sonogram “ . Enjoy your Bronco.

The sonogram is *exactly* how we were going to post for the photo. Unfortunately, we didn't get the photo. I did consider shopping an image of the Bronco being carried in a bundle by a stork, though.

In our 30s, my brother and I chose different life paths. I cleaned up my counter-cultural mess of a life, got sober, married, and have had 2 careers. My brother is a hippie committed to "Progressive" values. I have three pensions and real estate income.
