I switched to Granger the other day. Count me in on the shipping. I do have a September reso though (I was behind), so not sure how that plays out.

We may end up with a Castle-Rock-to-Colorado-Springs Convoy and a Castle-Rock-to-Denver Convoy...and a Castle-Rock-to-California Convoy?

The Shops at Castle Rock has a big parking lot and we could take 83 south to avoid the higher speeds on I-25 (for a gentler break-in with some stops on the way). But that's a ways off...just thinking out loud!
I LIKE THIS IDEA. Closer to me in new Mexico :)

Hello fellow Coloradans (and nearby neighbors). A small group of us have been sharing notes on our progress working with our local Ford dealerships and in short, we all came to the same conclusion. Up to now, not a single CO dealership has been very transparent or are willing to be competitive with a well-known Ford dealer and member here, @Granger Ford. Albert has been nothing short of fabulous in this forum representing Granger Ford in Granger, IA (approximately 700 miles from Denver area) and for our small group, we decided to change our reservation to Granger and are inviting others to join us. For our small group, it came down to the combination of transparency and excellent pricing… and with that we decided to work with Granger.

So here are the details followed by links with more details. Granger is offering the following pricing for out of state buyers:

Invoice -$1,300 if you have X-Plan (if not, you can sign up for $25 here)
+$100 DOC
+$45 Transit tag
+$425 Group Shipping (handled by Granger) - this is a discounted shipping rate so there are a couple of caveats in this estimate:
1) this estimate could increase if fuel prices spike by delivery next year
2) requires a full load of six vehicles (may have to wait until there are six vehicles ready to ship)
3) add $250-300 for one-off shipping

Bonus decal from Granger: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/granger-ford-specific-decal-for-only-our-customers.4972/

The more that we have join in, the faster the deliveries will be… so please join us!

EDIT - changed DOC fee to $100 (with x-plan).
EDIT #2 - clarified that the shipping is being handled by Granger (not us).
But would that work for people like me in California? Our very expensive state along with very strict rules might be a headache since we have our own smog specifications. If that is not the case I wouldn’t mind doing that with a group that has already been started in California or Los Angeles area. So if there’s anybody in the Los Angeles area that would like to try to create this opportunity for us to save moneyPlease share your insight into if this works for us in California

Yep. You just have to leave your house to go pick up your Bronco at the drop spot.
Actually, the terms in this "group buy" thread are not exclusive to us in Colorado. Granger is offering the same deal nationwide (I believe).

You are still welcome to join us though! :D
For sure, I will. I have been an import guy since I start driving, something about Bronco that make me want to switch and I haven't been in a 4x4 group forum before. This is a breath of fresh air :)

I'm considering this. I'm already reserved with Granger and in the Colorado Springs area. I was planning on flying out and seeing some family while driving it back, but my employment situation might change soon and not allow time for me to do that. How and when are commitments needed for this? I need a little time to figure out my situation. Cheers!

Finally a thread worth registering for! I'd be interested in this as well. Haven't spoken to my dealer in a while, now that I'm thinking about it...
Welcome! I wish you luck in talking with your dealer in Denver. Maybe you'll succeed where none of us have!

I think we have until early next year to start firming up the transport details. No hurry at this point!

I guess I should clarify on my post above. I'm assuming most of you reserved in July. I didn't do it until about a week and a half ago (once I talked the wife into it). This wouldn't affect the timing of my reservation being processed, right? So will I just be the last lonely Bronco from the group to be delivered?

I apologize for asking as I'm sure it's been covered a thousand times, but searching for "accessories" or "options" reveals a hilarious number of threads.

Does Invoice and/or X-Plan apply to pricing on accessories available at launch and able to be rolled into the car financing from Granger?
