West Coast delivery delays

Mine too showed a ship date three days after my built date, but didn’t actually leave MAP for 30 days after the ship date. Next week mine will have been in transit for almost 2 months. The shop.ford tracker has not very reliable in my case. I hope others have had better luck.

My dealer is in Brentwood as well was supposed to arrive by today, hopefully next week sometime.

I noticed with others coming to Oregon, their Broncos were held up in Minto, ND for a 3-5 days. It is hard to predict these things, but I hope yours is quicker than mine.

I checked this morning and it is moving again.

Mine has been sitting at the rail lot in San Diego for an entire week. This is nuts. How do I find out which trucking company is being used in my area? I've tried looking up my VIN on unitedroad.com and nothing.

I hear yeah mine has been at the rail yard for over a week as well. Your dealership should be able to tell you what day it is going to be delivered. My sales guy was able to show me a delivery date. Mine is supposed to be there this Thursday. We’ll see.

Did yours ever get delivered? Mine has been “released” in Mira Loma since last Thursday 01/19 and still not at the dealership

Indeed mine did get delivered. CSX reported a status of “Empty. Has been released by the customer” (in reference to the shipping container) on January 13th and it arrived at my dealer on January 20th.

Throughout that whole week wait my dealer wasn't 100% sure when it was going to arrive. I got a couple "it should arrive today or tomorrow" text messages with it not showing up.

The morning of January 20th my Ford tracker status updated to "in final preparation" and I got a text from my dealer saying it was in. I've seen from other B6G members though that "in final preparation" might not really means it's at the dealer, but mine was fortunately.

I'm not even sure what transport company delivered my Bronco as I never saw any tracking details on the United Road tracker for my VIN.

It was definitely worth the wait though:

I had a great dealer experience and there were no "surprises" upon pickup.

Thank you for the info! My dealer just called a few hours ago to let me know that it arrived at the dealership today! They are trying to get it ready for me to pick it up today, I can’t wait!

Awesome to hear that it has finally come in!

It was absolutely worth the (1 year and 20 something day) wait.

If you haven't already just make sure there will be no surprises with your price protection/private offer (if you have one). Mine came off right at the dealer and I didn't need to wait for a check or anything. However I believe I did pay taxes on the full 2023MY MSRP.

Also if you're looking to get an extended warranty, check out
https://grangerfordextendedwarranty.com before you go in. Was really hoping my dealer could match the price but unfortunately were not able to come close to Granger's pricing for a 10 year/100,000 mile Ford warranty so I bought it from Granger after the purchase and it shows under my Ford account.

Delivered to dealer yesterday and I will be picking it up today! Today is going to go by so slowly. Can't believe that it is almost really mine.

Finally made it to port of SD last night. Now the unloading and truck pick up awaits. Took 22 days last time till at dealer so hoping that doesn't become the case again

This is exactly my experience...rail car tracking never really worked for me and all I got was old info. Dealer provided updates from VinView is what worked. Now that I know my Bronco is in California, I'm not going to check on where it is (I'm too busy with work and there isn't anything I can do to get it here faster) unless it doesn't arrive by next weekend which is when my dealer is expecting it.

Looks like mine made it to the Richmond lot yesterday. Tracking status at United Road changed from Inactive to Pending Pickup. Currently, there are 4 vehicles (3 Broncos) waiting to get picked up for delivery to Walnut Creek Ford; I wonder if they'll take the 4 today or wait for more vehicles or a full load.

Dealer just sent me vin view eta for 2/14 by 4pm so looks like it will be sitting at port for some time just like the last one did. Oh well, time to stack more parts up in the garage lol
