Yes, it has steel bash plates.

When I spoke to Ford today regarding the birth photos, the guy stated that it is a Pilot program and not everyone will receive one. Not sure if it’s bullshit or not, but that’s what he told me.

Cool. There was a rumor that some of the bash plates on other trims were plastic and not steel. I have WildTrak coming and I ordered the modular bumper so I’m assuming mine will be steel as well.

Ford said the pictures at random some people get them in some people don’t, and I still haven’t gotten one…

It's not a rumor - my OBX (and a couple other trims - Wildtraks are looking fine) with the modular steel bumper came with plastic instead of the promised steel bash plate.
