I think people are looking at this backwards. The incentive will narrow down the list of those waiting. I wish i had this deal. Id personally take from stock without 10k adm and with 2021 pricing & the $2500. Great deal there.
I'm going to guess that those that take the dealer stock option are at least paying the sticker price, minus the $2,500 which is still a decent deal.

I can't see a dealer giving 2021 pricing on a 2023 wildtrak for example. It would also be WAY too hard to back calculate the cost of the different features and options.

And the guys posting about how easy it is, to just find a Bronco at some dealership lot with "hardly any ADM", as an alternate plan, lol.
Yep. Today, I searched websites of dealers across much of Illinois, eastern Iowa and southern Wisconsin. I found 2 that were in the ballpark, but not close to MSRP. I didn't call, because frankly, I want to see how the current situation plays out before making phone calls. I'll search Indiana and Michigan tomorrow. I don't see that going any better than today. Hahaha

Looks like to me if you want a Bronco, choice #1 is the only choice you have... unless you wait a few years. Translations: They are not going to produce Wildtraks. They are not going to produce MIC's. They are not going to produce SAS packages. LUX 'outa luck'.
That's not how you should read it.

Ford can build every last non-SAS floppy top 4-door anyone orders. Anyone who switches to a 4-door non-sad floppy top (without Lux) will get built. Ford has litterally been begging people to change to a 4-door floppy top for over a year and a half. Now they are so desparate they are willing to toss on $2500.

Ford can build 2/3rs of the 2-doors that are on order, and 70% of the MIC 4-door tops on order, and probably about 60% of the Sasquatch on order. Keep Lux and your odds of being built get really dismal.

So, if you keep MIC, Sasquatch, or Wildtrack there is a chance it will get built. They do have 8 more months of schedualling. But if it doesn't get built, then no price protection for you.

What did Granger say about 2-doors, and the inability to drop the hardtop constraint? Did they say 2-door customers are SOL?
i didn’t ask about two doors. I should have but they were busy as heck and to be honest i was only thinking about my own situation. i failed as a forum member.

Well I just got an email from a dealership (Granger), which states the following:

"On Friday, January 13, Ford announced that hard tops, the Sasquatch package, and the Lux package are constraints for the 2023 Ford Bronco. This affects both two-door and four-door builds. If your order does not contain these options, please disregard this e-mail."

So by my reading, all 2-door Bronco customers seem SOL. :(
ford is offering a soft top for The 2 door. I guarantee it will be announced this week. So 2 door orders will get the soft top with a $2500 credit towards the price of the vehicle, which they should.

I dont know of any in the entire SE that have less than 10k markup. Oh, well hold on, there is a place in FL that charges 6,900 for nitrogen in the tires. That seems insulting but i guess its better than 10k.
Maybe the board should keep a Nice list along with the naughty list, lol.

just posting what my dealer emailed me today. Legit, not legit, who knows. Not like anyone can control it. I think the 2 doors look horrible with the soft tops I’ve seen, and I ordered a 2 door
The Bestop 2 door fastback isn't horrible to my eye but I strongly prefer the MIC look. But if it comes down to the Bestop or nothing/losing PP and order getting cancelled, I would take the Bestop. Hopefully there would be an additional cost savings that could go toward a hardtop in a couple years.

my dealer who I’ve purchased several vehicles from received this info directly from ford last Friday. I confirmed it Friday and again today. There’s no way ford is scraping thousands of 2 door orders for lack of hard tops. The soft tops will be the restraint fix for now.

hmm, that would be nice, but honestly I have a hard time believing it. I just got clarification from the dealership via email, that 2-door customers will need to switch to 4-door.
Post your email from your dealer. I have a hard time believing that. What your saying is that they are getting rid of 2 door (for now)all together. There’s no way

I have a July 14th 2020 reservation for a two-door badlands, modular bumper, 7 speed, brush guard, tow. No interior package no Sasquatch package.
On December 14th of 2022 I decided Ford wasn't going to build my order. I went on Facebook Marketplace and searched for manual transmission bronco. I found an exact clone of my order in St Louis except for it had the high package and the Sasquatch package. Same. Color etc. I live in Southern Illinois about 25 miles from St Louis. It was a brand new abandoned order. I drove over there the next day and bought it. They originally had it at $10,000 over MSRP but marked that down to $3,000 over. They dropped the price to $2000 over MSRP and I just got a check from them in the mail for $171. So I guess $1829 over MSRP. I guess I was being cheap and didn't want to pay for the 35-in tires or the 12-in screen but wow I'm glad I have them now! And now my order actually got scheduled for production a few days ago. It says the week of March 6th. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet.

Looks like at least another year for me then, so as they say "The ox is slow, but the earth is patient." I want what I want, so I will wait. The dropping of the price protection sucks more than the added wait time.
