No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

I have a Heritage on order but recently decided to switch to a WT. I'm a current day one reservation holder, guess this may not be my best interest now as I do not have a build date. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

In the same boat as you Day 1 res holder waiting on a wildtrak. This is not good. You waiting on a 2 Door or 4 door?

I don’t think we will know until tomorrow or Tuesday. But considering how things have gone so far, the biggest issue will still be allocations unless a bunch actually bail.

Why reward them with a purchase at all? That’s a pile of cash to be hosed out of. If enough people told them to shove it, maybe they would not treat customers like crap. The economy is slowing so hope they feel the well deserved pain.

I am not ordering one. I would have ordered if I could get the MY22 pricing, but not at the current prices.

It appears there is going to be a 1 time early/extra allocation for over booked dealers. How to become part of that allocation is the part of the puzzle that includes reframing our orders.

They also said I would go to the 'back of the line' since it would be like creating a new order??? No problem changing the color though.

And that's part of the problem, dealers don't follow guidance put out by Ford assuming Ford doesn't F it up in the process. It all makes it look inept because no one follows the rules meant to somewhat benefit us the customers.

Based on the latest I'd keep your high package or talk with someone else at the dealer.

Why are you switching? IMO the only thing the WT is going to have over the HE is the Hoss 3.0 and the ability to go with a higher pkg. and leather. With the difference in prices you could pretty much match suspension of your choice if that's what you're chasing. Anyrate, good luck either way you go!

From my understanding it’s either change, buy something else or it will be wiped clean along with any unscheduled unbuildable orders. If correct, no one would have a valid order if it wasn’t buildable. Technically everything would be scheduled or able to be scheduled. That would definitely change where folks are in line with dealers orders and allocations wouldn’t be as big a factor. I guess we will soon see.

I watched this and changed my tune. This is for sure happening now. And when you look at what they’ve done with the lightning (dropped PP etc) I have no doubts selling broncos at 2020 prices in 2023 is pushing the bean counters over the edge. They’ve always said a reservation doesn’t guarantee delivery. To be honest we we’re probably too hard on them lol. If they drop the constraints they can pump out over 15k of these a month. One things for certain. If you have SAS or LUX your value just shot up. I’d assume MY2024 pricing will be even higher and tens of thousands just lost their PP. I bit the bullet and paid markup a year ago but wanted to swap out my order with my reservation when it finally came. Guess that’s out the window

Not everyone will change. If your # is called prior to running out of commodities, still a chance. Problem is no one knows where they are in the list. If I don’t change I’m taking a chance to get built OR risk having my order wiped clean if they run out of commodities.. If I do change you are guaranteed to get scheduled.

Yes, except the private offer cannot be used on limited production vehicles. So, you can't use it on the Bronco Raptor or Heritage Limited. Otherwise, the certificate is under your name and zip code, and can be used on any other 2023 Bronco. Can't use it on a 2022.

Never understood why Ford delayed opening the order bank back in December 2020 and then let it roll along well into 2021. They could have had a fair idea of commodity trends at the start of 2021.

I have thought the same thing. Ford had plenty of information on what Broncos and commodities were in high demand from the start, the management at Ford never acted too insure production forecast and production. Instead they adopted an allocation system that made things even worse. Then finally put their heads in the sand.

We shall see. I’m not too worried either way. As others have said, if push comes to shove I could buy one off the lot. There seems to be quite a few new or slightly used ones if you are willing to travel if not local.
