Tracking with the CSX automated phone system, mine has fortunately been making it's way to the West Coast in a pretty timely manner.

As of calling right now CSX says it's somewhere in Nevada. So just one state away.

I've been trying to call the Union Pacific automated system for a week since that will give the ETA, but the voice recognition is so terrible and never gets my voice entry correct for the letters. Tried on speaker, off speaker, on headset. No dice...

Me: CTTX
Automated Phone: "I heard CCBX. I can't find that car. Please say....."
Me: CTTX
Automated Phone: "I heard CCTX. I can't find that car. Please say....."
Me: *hangs up*

Thankfully I can stop checking the rail trackers!

It was delivered at the Mira Loma rail yard two days ago and yesterday reported with a status of “Empty. Has been released by the customer” which should mean it’s been unloaded from the rail car and is ready for pickup by the transport company which luckily doesn’t need to go very far to the dealer.

Hoping I’ll get a text or call or Ford status update email saying it’s arrived at the dealer soon

Hmm not really sure about the Michigan per UP… UP didn’t work when I called but I suspect it’s because mine transferred to BNSF not UP at interchange.

I have been following just with CSX and after Gibson it always says no ETA and end of call also. I suspect you may take a similar route and hopefully overnight yours will be in Texas or NM already! I seem to be stuck in Clovis, NM right now but it flew to get there.

Just call CSX Trace and it seems to track it all the way after interchange.

Yea just be patient for a bit sometimes there are some sticking points and have seen that other people get caught up in some places for a few days. I’m in same situation in Clovis, New Mexico right now so I feel ya

From my experience tracking with CSX, once it changed to UP CSX tracking will say no ETA, but it’ll still say the city and state that it arrived at and/or departed from as it continues to move. It would actually say “UP” at some point in the automated phone system.

I tracked with CSX the whole way and didn’t care about the ETA as long as it kept moving West.

Mine left MAP on rail Jan 2nd/3rd and got here to SoCal Jan 12th/13th to give an idea of my timeframe.

Kinda the same here. Mine says Chicago Clearing since 1/5 with no ETA

Yea just be patient for a bit sometimes there are some sticking points and have seen that other people get caught up in some places for a few days. I’m in same situation in Clovis, New Mexico right now so I feel ya

Hopefully you will get your bronco soon. Honestly, I'm just worried that they're not gonna return the ricar back to Michigan because when I call United pacific they're telling it is loaded and estimated arrival time with ramp origin Wayne, Michigan.

Got my rail car a few days ago! Was a bit anxious about getting stuck in Ohio as I saw some people have, but CSX says it departed for Louisville, KY this morning and still scheduled to arrive in FL on the 20th! Then the anxious wait for United to deliver to my dealer

This is not UPS or FedEx. These systems are not designed for up to the minute updates.

It’s going to be at Gibson for a few days with no updates. Then potentially to Blue Island, IL and then it will head your way.

Don’t drive yourself crazy checking multiple times a day like I do. It’s not healthy.

For everyone having problems dictating their rail car info to csx, you can type in the information. IE TTGX would be 81 81 41 92. If you look at the letters on your dial pad. T is the first letter on the 8 key so its 8,1. G is the first letter on the 4 key so it's 4,1 etc etc. This is way more accurate than saying it 1 million times. Hope this helps.
