Just got an update from CSX. Departed Kansas City, KS at 6:50 PM.

I am still on a chip hold with 4dr WT as of yesterday. ETA also Jan 20 though the chat folks said that there were no other status updates since 12/13 when it was produced and put on chip hold.

This one is/was a Christmas present for my wife and I gave it in the form of some Bronco merch…just need the truck now. We both probably check the status 3-4 times per day at this point, so at least I am no longer alone at home in my angst.

That's a real bummer. Sorry, man!

So far its been great. The hard top is maintaining temps with heat on in the cold, to where I am actually opening windows to cool off a bit. No wind or other excessive noises with the top. Snow, mud, ice, handles great. My moms been with me 2-tracking, and been like, "Damn, we're going to get stuck..." and I just plow right through, only to turn around and she like "Damn" again.

The whole build up of snow / ice on the rear fender is a legit issue. Front mud flaps help with that a lot.

The windshield wipers seem weird so far. I've had it all the way up to Super Fast, and it will randomly slow down or even pause. No idea what that is about.

No issues that I have found, other than doors seem to take a bit more force to close than I am used too coming from an F150. Actually going back to the F150 dos feel weird now, so roomy and just... big.

Radio is completely adequate for me, and I was expecting bad from the forums reading.

Overall, I am happy. MPG is 13.9 so far though..... so it's going to be awful thirsty.

For anyone tracking their shipment to Texas, the following from a post in the 1/24 build week group is really helpful. Mine was delivered to the Blue Island Interchange today so I at least know where my bronco is in the process.

Just ordered AR's Magnum sidesteps. The wife thinks the Bronco is as easy to get into as her Subaru..... fingers crossed she's happy to find out I ordered it before the 10 week lead time is up

Edit: hopefully she's not mad anymore when the bronco arrives and she realizes how much taller it is. She saw the payment <5min after I ordered it

As of 2:57AM this morning, my Bronco has arrived at Arkansas City, KS. So just 8hrs away. Hopefully it starts moving again today.
