Hey All,

I ordered a Bronco Big Bend in August of 2021 and it was scheduled to be built in January 2022. In March of 2022 my Bronco was built and waiting to ship with an estimated delivery date of May 11th - May 17th. The vehicle never arrived at my dealership and a few months later in July I got another email saying ā€œyour vehicle just rolled off the assembly lineā€ with a photo of it. Then in August I received another estimated delivery date of August 9th - August 15th. My vehicle did not arrive to my dealership then either. I have been in contact with my dealership and Ford Customer service/Bronco Support Team since the end of May but haven’t got anywhere. My dealership can’t get responses from their Ford reps on where the vehicle is located. The warranty on the vehicle hasn’t started so I know my dealership hasn’t sold it to someone else.

The Bronco I ordered seems to be lost. I don’t know what else I can do to locate my Bronco. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This happened to a buddy of mine recently with his F-150. His was ā€œmissingā€ for a few weeks while in-transit—he got the email saying production complete—and nobody from the dealer or Ford could locate it in the database.

All of a sudden, it turned up in the system and his dealer notified him that it’s in-transit (parked in a lot) but awaiting a chip.

Fast-forward another month, his dealer finally notified him it had arrived.

Mine went missing for 3 months. The general consensus was a chip shortage issue, but I couldn't get an answer out of Ford. Eventually, it just popped up as shipped.

What in the actual F@!K? How hard is it to track a vehicle by VIN? (This is a question to FORD and your dealer)

It's 2022 not 1982 - we have the technology to pinpoint these vehicles instantly. Smells fishy.

Have your dealer look at the Vehicle Visibility Report there is a lot of info on that including reason if its a hold.

Couldnā€˜t agree more!

Supposedly the shipping company Ford uses to deliver the Broncos marked the vehicle as ā€œdeliveredā€œ in May and after 90 days the VIN can’t be tracked by Ford’s systems.

SMH - I'm sure you have Ford involved, but do you have the right people involved? If you're a tweeter, get on over there to Twitter and hit Ford and Farley up. Publicly call them out for action. They don't like bad press on social media. Call your local news and ask them for help / run a story. Typically if it gets on the news - it will get action. Make that wheel squeak son! Oil coming soon!

I've been waiting since the end of August for my Bronco to ship. I fear that it may have met the same fate as yours. I never received a proof of life photo though. These rigs have a built in modem. It's crazy that one can go missing. Probably got shipped overseas!

I went through something similar. I was part of the infamous "Ice Mountain" build weeks. Scheduled for production in January. After months of my estimated delivery date being pushed back I stopped checking the trackers/backdoors and told the dealership to just let me know if it ever arrived.

Fast forward to May and I got a text from my dealership that my Bronco arrived. Curiously all the trackers still showed it "in production" and the dealership had no idea it was even in transit. It just kind of showed up on a truck out of nowhere.

It was caked in mud and grime and had around 75 miles on it but I took it home anyways.

Fortunately I was in a position where I didn't "need" the Bronco so it made the wait a little easier to handle. I know it will probably ring hollow but maybe give the trackers a break and purge it from your mind and maybe it will show up out of nowhere like mine. Best of luck!

Ford’s logistics suck. I read years ago that they hired UPS to handle their logistics. I wonder if that’s still the case?

Maybe that was the chip that it was waiting on? I get it, Amazon knows where my $2.99 widget is all the way until it hits my porch and Ford can't figure out how to track a $50k truck.

You're right, Ford should know where every single vehicle is, right up to the point of delivery.

It's pretty pathetic that a multibillion dollar, Fortune 500 company, doesn't know where their inventory is. Is it any surprise that their stock is $12 per share?

A few well placed signs on locaal telephone poles, problem solved.
