Ordered mine but I'm going to look for something that will cover up that Havoc plate and weld. It's just too rough looking for me. Maybe some black diamond plate or something.

Was looking at pics from OP, how well do these cover up the pinch welds??

These look good. I would just worry about it not being frame mounted as if you get caught up on a rock under there you may have some damage from all the weight being put on the body and not the sturdy frame

Also, can someone who has this installed verify that the "step" area is in the perfect position that neither the front passenger nor the rear passenger can use it properly on the 2 door? The steps seems to be smack dab in the middle

Is that where the factory sliders mount?

Yes, factory sliders have a bracket that is attached there and is part of the mounting system.
