Was home for a little while, went back to dealer for ceramic coat and they just texted me they need to repaint the doors to correct for factory blemishes

That's a bummer. Pretty cool of the dealer to point it out and get it sorted early though. I'm not saying that MAP is rushing through builds, but it doesn't surprise me to hear about things like this. Especially when it's non-mechanical or safety related.

Well at least now I know the bronco is moving. Will be in blue island Illinois this weekend

You prompted me to check mine and it's the same. Left MAP yesterday and en route to Blue Island for the 7th.

Finally got the call! Bronco is at Granger and I will be picking up next week. Then I get to do a crazy 1800 mile break in trip back to Oregon.

Hey @Ford Motor Company can you help locate mine? It’s been at the MAP rail yard for over 5 weeks, it’s past est arrival date, and nobody is getting back with me with info…..please?

I took delivery of this beauty late this afternoon. At home at last! I’ll post more tomorrow with photos.

ford just keeps changing the delivery range and tying it to the original date they gave the update so now it looks like im the crazy one to ford because i have an email dated after the supposed update showing a different time range for delivery.

either way nobody at ford (proper not the dealer) can even tell me where my car is at. it looks like it has shipped according to the system but there is no shipment information at all, which makes me think its just sitting in a lot at MAP.

I called and talked to ford chat, where they told me they would escalate it but a super would never call me because it shows that the vehicle is in a "transit" status, when I told the gentleman that the status was exactly my issue he said there is nothing they can do about it.


To me, it looks like ford screwed up and said it shipped and it was not infact shipped. so they edited the 'updates' in the system to look like they never actually did that. and that my original time frame hasnt even passed yet.

Ford chat response to this was, thats weird but someone should have put notes and indicated a hold. but there are no holds on this vehicle at all, or in the history.

Ford clearly does not care one bit at this point.

I escalated mine to Bronco Support Team on Monday. He said they’d get back with me yesterday. Nothing yet. My dealer said he “tracked” it using the vin and it’s at the MAP rail yard and has been for the last 5 weeks. Who knows. It seems that everyone has different info, or no info.

Well, I got a rail car number (TTGX979750) but it says not status avail. Chat says it was last scanned at MAP, ramp 4G, 08/03 at 13:54 ET. I’ll try again tomorrow. Could STILL be at MAP but at least it has a rail car assigned.
