Color Matched Hardtop vs Stock Carbonized Gray

My plan, should it go as I want is to get the hard top in carbonized grey, and the have it Bedlined in black to match the other black plastics.

Was going for the exact same thing. Carbonized gray with the black hard top. But it doesn't look like we'll get the black hard top unless we upgrade to the BL?

No you don't, I just checked on the Ford website, you can option the painted black hardtop for the Black Diamond 4 door

Seems extremely odd to offer it for the 4 door and not the two door...

ford is offering some off the wall shit that doesn’t seem to correlate, I understand needing to move to different trims to get a package but if I want a 2 door BD I should be able to get the same options on the 4 door

This will honestly be the toughest decision of the whole build for me. I know there are aftermarket soft tops, but would there possibly be aftermarket hard tops that someone would make in black. I was planning on getting dual tops, but not sure with the gray. Not a fan.

Not a fan either, one reason I’m moving from the BD. Don’t really want color match either. First choice is white if that becomes a reality and second is black.

I'm on the fence with 3 different colors... Area 51, Oxford White, Antimatter Blue. and I would like to have the (hardtop matching color). But what leather choices are offered with those colors will aid in my final choice...

I'd say there are lots of paint color choices that look pretty decent with the MIC gray top
(taken from colorizer but would look as nice 2-dr or 4-dr)

they could have at least matched the fenders that are right there.

What we need to do is start threads for regional swaps. If someone in Denver wanted a black top, and someone ordering a Wildtrak wanted the grey for some reason, let them get together and work out the purchases and a price for the swap. Like Tinder for grilles, options, and accessories.

Perfect. I'm in Denver too but I'll need you to order a white 4door bronco if they allow body colored tops and they don't allow my wife to order a white top on her cactus grey 4dr lol. I can then trade you the standard top and $ or the painted black top.
