So question to all those still waiting for a miracle on their bronco . Why haven't you dropped the order and forget about it ? Why are you staying ? For me , it's like a gamblers addict. I keep telling myself that the next roll is going to be my lucky one ... And it never is

clown-crying (2).gif
I can honestly say that the only reason I'm hanging onto my order is because the overall lack of vehicle supply and "Bronco hysteria" has driven the prices up to insane levels. I know I can turn it in to Carvana or Carmax and make $10k+ profit with zero effort on my part.

So my plan is to be patient and follow through with the purchase. If I like my new ride, that's great. If I can't get over the fact that its a Ford and all the negative things I now associate with that, well that's fine too because I can easily trade it for something else at a profit. If the high fuel prices or some other variable pops this Bronco price inflation bubble, I would walk away for sure

Damn my dealer at ford of Kendall has a bronco party today because just today alone it received 12 broncos ... All built this month may 😭 I ask myself what I did wrong in my life to deserve this. I tell myself I'm a good lad who just wanted his bronco to take his aging dog on adventures and create memories but it seems the universe like always has it against me and doesn't want to see me happy. @Ford Motor Company I really really hate you. I hate that my bronco will probably wont get to my dealer 8 months after it was produced. I hate that Broncos built after me all arrived at their dealers. I hate the lack of communication . I hate that chip hold excuse even though y'all have chips . I hate the idea that my dog will pass before I even get my bronco. I hate that I really can't do shit and it's all in the hands of Ford. I hate that there is no management at MAP. I hate you with a passion @Ford Motor Company

That's super frustrating. Are the 12 Bronco's all customer orders or are some of them available as dealer stock? Maybe you could talk to your dealership about buying one of these arrivals and letting the dealer have the ice mountain Bronco in its place?

All of them are customer orders... Legit one of them is exactly my built but it's cactus gray wildtrak instead of race red ... It ain't fair man it really isn't 😔

Done.

How can you tell customer order versus dealer stock on a website? This one dealer has numerous Broncos on Cars.com - I inquired about availability/ markups assuming most of the vehicles had to be custom order. Only one wasnt.

Isn't the color of the window tag? Blue is dealer, green is custom?

Does anyone need/want a set of Weathertech floor liners for a four-door, carpet interior? These came out of our black Bronco that is going away. I ordered the Ford liners with my build for the green Bronco and have decided to stick with those going forward so the Weathertech liners are available.

Wanted to offer them out to the family before I post it on the marketplace.

https://www.weathertech.com/ford/20...-6/4-door/bronco-floor-type-6/carpeted-floor/

Hit me up if interested. They are in perfect used condition.

How much and wonder what shipping would cost to Tennessee?

I wasn't honestly considering it until it came in and then I tried some mental gymnastics for days trying to justify why I can't part with the Bronco.

I can, and will. I love that thing but end of the day it's too much not to.
Meh. Money isn't everything. You spent all that energy hoping and waiting on your Bronco just to turn around and sell it for 14-15k profit?
All the things you wanted to do in the Bronco you can do in the Tesla?
Such wildly different vehicles.
Those batteries are not saving the planet. Saving you sh*t tons at the pump though I guess.
I broke down and bought a used RAM Rebel myself. Gas pig but fun to drive.
Still looking out for my Bronco that's been stripped for parts and rotting somewhere near the Mountain.
Anyway, whatever you do good luck.

Batteries will do what they say eventually. But you don’t change overnight. Stupid to slow oil production. That’s why we have markets. They will make the change if and when it works. Government stay away.

Individuals value things differently. I love the Bronco but it's just a vehicle to me. My life is not significantly improved by its presence nor will it be irreparably harmed by its absence. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to own it and drive it and have the experience with my son.

The $15k is significant. The avoided costs (in accessories, maintenance, gas) are even greater. At the end of the day, I had to ask myself if the Bronco was worth that much to me, on top of the $45k I had already spent on it.

It wasn't an easy choice but I had to look at that but also the frustrations that I've encountered in not just Ice Mountain but Ford and my dealership hanging me out to dry on every issue I found on my Bronco upon delivery (doors, window, soft top). My last visit to the service department for a severely misaligned window the shop foreman exclaimed, "This is a production vehicle, not handmade what do yoy want?!".

So profit or dig in with zero support from Ford on a $45k purchase?

As for the rest of your post - I didn't say a Tesla could do what a Bronco can or go where it can. I didn't say Tesla's batteries are saving the world. They are wildly different vehicles. I still have a Tacoma that was a daily driver that I can toy with for off road fun.

I'm not kicking dirt on the Bronco. I love it and I'll miss the hell out of it but sometimes it just makes sense to move on.

In a way they kind of are hand made.

Ok, check the box. I offer the following for those wondering about such things.

Car Gurus $38000
Vroom $41000
CarMax $42000
Shift $44000
Carvana $48000
Driveway $51000

Private party, I was asking $49000. I had a firm offer at $45000 and multiple below that. One at $48000 but, I never considered them serious.

Driveway was a nightmare to work with. Delays, excuses, and more delays. They are untrained, overwhelmed and, disorganized.

just sold it to Carvana. Literally, 15 minute transaction.

Not bad for a car I paid $38000 OTD for. $34k plus CA taxes, reg, etc.
