I am catching up, really sorry to see that Ford has not gotten it together and that somehow ice mountain is growing….!!!

If it makes y’all feel better I took the top off my 2 door for the first time today and cut my finger in the sharp edge of the MIC top . Immediately thought “this is penance for taking delivery before Dear Leader (aka Osky).”

Man, this shit show just keeps coming back with more acts. So sorry to hear and see this. No matter what, we are all in this together, regardless of receipt of your Bronco or not. I’m not leaving anyone behind.

I know it might hurt a bit but, I installed the front pair of Gatorback mudflaps today. These things are like erector sets to build! Good grief!! So many nuts, bolts, washers, and brackets. They look fantastic though.

I also installed the OCD plug 12” screen protector and Fast Intentions door sill protectors. I will finish the rear mudflaps tomorrow. I’m out of accessories until I order up something else. I need some bumper lights and ditch lights at some point. Also, some off road safety and recovery gear.

i am still waiting on my Bronco to put that Marvin the martian sticker on it ... And if I never get my bronco since it seems @Ford Motor Company hates January broncos then I'll slap the sticker on my bike since that is legit my only vehicle that takes me from point A to B and back

My initial EDD was 2/8/22
Chip hold EDD: 5/14 - 5/18
New EDD… End of July or, in reality, “who the hell knows.”

My EDD first day is legit tomorrow... May 18-24. Will I get it , who knows , maybe , perhaps, highly unlikely ... I guess you'll find out in the next episode of dragon ball z

I just saw the EDD slippage for some to late July and early August.

Is anyone else feeling like this whole thing is either a bad dream that we are going to eventually wake up from or a extreme episode of Punked? Honestly. @Ford Motor Company. Chip holds should have been at worse case a 30 to 60 day fix. Covid. Ukraine issues aside. I am thinking Ford has some deeper operational and production issues which these crazy times have exposed. Or maybe it’s just my ex consultant brain over thinking things.

Either way. I have put a no more bronco accessories note on my fridge until I see some concrete movement w my personal order. But 100% reordering my same configuration from an alt dealer when order banks reopen in the fall. Just as a fallback and security to odd issues for sitting out over 4 to 6 months not being driven.

I HOPE I AM WRONG but I dont expect much more than a trickle from Ice Mountain until Ford stops MY 2022 production. Executives have stated models like the F150 (ICE) and Lightning and the current production line are priority. Working the “on wheels inventory” is a PIA, and I dont expect they have much resources qualified workers allowed to retrofit vehicles in the lots. I also dont expect a mad rush at quarter end for that reason. There were 53K vehicles waiting end of Q1. Shareholders gave Ford a pass. They dont communicate because there currently is no plan to work the cars. The CFO “hoped to work them in Q2 and Q3. That was a brush off statement.

Again, I hope I am wrong and am not defending Ford. I just dont see any other reasons now for the lack of communication

i agree with this - to us these vehicles were completed in Jan and are rotting but to Ford they are just Broncos- they don't really care whether they sell ones off the line or off dirt mountain- a sale is a sale. they don't really care about our experience- there are a lot of customers waiting for all sorts of vehicles. I'm not justifying this; it's bad business because they are creating tons of customers of other brands. i was a lifelong ford guy and i will never buy one again.

Super easy. 15 minutes. Fun but very windy and noisy. Better cruising around town rather than freeway.

This. GM and Subaru also have to deal with the same international supply chain issues. But GM surprisingly is turning a profit in 2022. As is Tesla…People can get their wranglers fairly reliably 2-3 mo after ordering.

Whoever is making decisions on supply chain / expectations at ford is royally blowing it.

Shipping delays pushed back estimated delivery to the dealer multiple times. I'm now waiting on a 5/19 delivery date, but the rep at the customer call center, they said could be later then 5/19 since it hasn't had status of 'Shipped' yet. They also said they would open a logistics request and would get back with me in the next 5-10 business days, which in my mind means I won't be seeing the Bronco by then.

Well I knew this would happen since @Ford Motor Company is incapable of doing the simplest things. So my ETA as of yesterday when I call was May 18-24 and my bronco has shown " Shipped to Ford of Kendall" since April 14 and I just checked the tracker today and now this shows up... Also I called Ford and they told me my bronco got an update last night and now me ETA is July 29 to August 24 I swear if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. But I wasn't surprised . I knew this was bound to happen . They told me Ford will reopen orders at the end of August . I wouldn't be surprised if I ordered again and the 2023 bronco shows up before my 2022 bronco. Either way if I don't have it by July I will get it when I get it and sell it . I'll reorder again. This is insane. Absolutely insane. Never in my wildest dreams I would have thought how screwed our month got. What hurts the most is seeing broncos built this month May ! Literally already arriving at dealerships good luck to everyone here but I'm out. I need a break. Need to think things through and ask myself what I did wrong to deserve this. Good luck to everyone .
