Does anybody else have their FordPass activated and able to follow it via GPS? Are you able to follow on the rail car? Anybody else see their bronco in Ypsilanti?

I’m not contacting anyone any more. It’s never encouraging news. I’ll just wait for the call from my dealer. Of course I will keep an eye on the forum! I hope there are lots of surprise deliveries!

Mine is waiting activation. Guess no one has gotten into it since I enabled FordPass.

So are we assuming those on plant holds are delayed due to chips? I’m just not fully understanding why there are some holds for the 4/4 build group and tons for 4/11 but there are still 4/18 build week trucks getting built and shipped out. Are different chips used for different builds? Are they really day to day and if chips run out your day, you’re SOL… then when they get more in the following day, they just put them in the vehicles being built that day?

I understand the varying ship times because of logistical issues but why would some Broncos from one day be held for chip shortages but Broncos the next day be built?

Maybe I’m way off and just frustrated…

Perhaps some of the shipping could be from ice mountain....or eh whatever mountain the 1/24 build week is. Looks like they're getting similar ship dates....yeah....1/24....I have been following these build weeks from around November. I know people get frustrated but it's across the board. It is hit or miss. The week after us has had shipped units and here we are still shipping January builds. Take every chat or cs call with a grain of salt. There are people receiving their builds before the trackers come out of production. There is no consistency anywhere. Don't lose sleep over it you may ship today, tomorrow or yesterday.

That's correct. They do not stop the line so if you are missing something, you get put to the side, and when they have access parts, you might get made whole. The line always gets priority over partially built vehicles. So unfortunately those of us that happened to it's anyone's guess as to when we could get our broncos.

Well it is perhaps it’s a blessing as I check my gps often and it hasn’t moved since it was produced and driven to this lot over a week ago. I’m hoping the hold clears very soon for us all in limbo…

Mine doesn’t even say that. It just tells me the “feature is unavailable” and to “try again once I’ve taken delivery of the vehicle.”
