Thought I’d share some news I got from my dealer today. I’ll preface by saying a) this is clearly not true for everyone and b) I’ll still take most news with a grain of salt until my Bronco is in my driveway.

He sent me this text today:

“One piece of potentially good news…. All of the Broncos have been released to the carrier.

Our Zone Rep said that means the unit has cleared all safety checks and is ready to ship.”

“All of the broncos” refers to the remaining ones in their system that have been on hold, mine included.

He followed up with a phone call and said the zone rep told him he’s been seeing a trend with many of the units that have been on hold for a while. He’s noticed that many of them don’t show up in the tracking systems the same as normal and especially once they ship.I guess with all the delays/changes, the systems don’t always update and show accurate info, which explains why some units just Show up out of the blue.

So, based on his info, mine is built and has passed all the final inspections and ready to ship, but every one of my trackers still show “in production” and my dealer feels pretty certain they may not have accurate tracking info once it actually ships.

I’m cautiously optimistic that I may be finally built and just thought I’d pass along, as this may be the case with some of you, as well!

Please continue to keep us updated as this is what I’ve thought but also not certain

On the ordertrack app page if your showing as rail do you know if you ever get the picked or paired status or is that only for convoy?
I'm rail, but I've been at the rail yard since last Thursday. I tracked my CSX Railcar and only now that it's reached final rail yard will it go Convoy to dealership.

My Bronco shipped on April 15th and arrived at the Ft Worth depot/rail yard today. It sat in Arkansas City, Kansas for 4 days over the last weekend. I guess it switched trains and no one works weekends (who even knows at this point!) My dealer said it scheduled to get put on a transporter - they have 14 cars to be delivered to the dealership, and he says it will be no more than a few days. So if you’re in NTX, that was a 11 day train ride….all that being said - I cannot WAIT!! 😍😍😍

Sorry I've been awol. It's the last week of the semester before finals and the students are stressing. How many of you have driven a Bronco before you got yours? Like did any of you test drive any?
I was going to test drive and when I sat down in it, I fell in love and it started raining so I said it was fine. Sitting was all I needed to do!

I never changed to a soft top. I decided I would wait longer for the Mic top, but oh wait...I am waiting longer  WTH
In regards to my reserved Bronco, I’ve always been adamant that I would get it exactly the way I want it. It’s taken a while, but there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel and I don’t see many loaded Race Red 2dr WT’s in the local area. Although, there is one very close to my build a few blocks away that belongs to the parts manager at the local ford dealership.
The wife and I picked up an abandoned order BB soft top 4dr last August and it did just fine during this past Wyoming winter. But, at some point when inventory increases and prices decrease we’ll want a hard top for it……I have a feeling that’s going to be a while. It’s a good thing you’ll have the hard top first and add a soft top later.

I had a feeling this might be the case that some people might just never get updated. We've seen some people on the forum get theirs when it still says they are in production. I'm really hoping that is the case. I guess I will find out in 3 weeks when my EDD comes.

I feel like my dealer basically said this yesterday without saying exactly this. he said a bunch have been showing up lately without notice! and he seems to think mine will potentially be here before my EED which is may 8-14! i just didn’t want to get my hopes up!!!

Where I live is very windy and I'm on the coast. I do like the look of the hard top better.

Called the 800 number just now and found that I am still in production on microchip hold, but with an estimated delivery date of May 1.
Somehow these things don't seem to go together...but here's hoping.
