Not sure if there's an easier way, but this is how I found it:Where do you see the VIN at? I'm checking the backdoor link and I don't see mine but I did get a production date.
Yes, I have seen a few 2 doors scheduled. The thing that I have noticed is that pretty much every one scheduled today has tow pkg. So much for sacrificing tow for faster build.Any 2-Doors get pulled?
7-16-20Res date?
Literally removed mine a month ago…so that’s cool.Yes, I have seen a few 2 doors scheduled. The thing that I have noticed is that pretty much every one scheduled today has tow pkg. So much for sacrificing tow for faster build.
Reached out again and they gave me a date of 6/13!If you have a VIN, you're scheduled. Did they not give you a date? The tracker wont move to "in production" until your vehicle actually goes in to be built.
Check out my previous post on the last page. Your timestamp is likely the culprit for this scheduling. Going forward not having the hitch may still help you.Literally removed mine a month ago…so that’s cool.
Ford is likely projecting that the second MIC plant will be producing by then. Webasto has been hiring workers there for a couple months already. As to why this is happening now: I suspect that the other supply chain issues (that caused ice mountain holds as well as pushed builds from March/April to April/May/June) allowed hard top production to more or less catch up resulting in a lot of early reservations being scheduled because of the increased availability.
We have the same build and almost the same order date... both got 6/13!Reached out again and they gave me a date of 6/13!
You are a genius my friend, just pulled my vin off the backdoor page! Not sure if there's an easier way, but this is how I found it:
- Pull up the backdoor link in your computer browser.
- Hit F12 (or ctrl+shift+j, or open dev tools whatever way you can)
- Go to the Network tab in the dev tools
- Refresh the page
- In the list look for an entry that starts with your reservation number, there may be more than one, the correct one will display some data in the Response tab
- The vin should be in this data, (you can hit ctrl+f to search for vin)
