Also why I think the ‘backorder numbers’ are all over the place
I've gotten TWO off rodeo emails this week which is unusual.... Someone give me some info - the new rule is that if we don't have a reservation just an order, we won't get an email if we're scheduled for production until the week prior to our production date? So basically we won't know if we are scheduled this round unless our dealer notifies us or we call the Bronco line, right?

Four orders?! I kind of wish there was a substantial down payment required on a custom order to prevent this kind of nonsense with an agreed upon purchase price. Refundable, sure, but big enough that you'd think twice about keeping multiple orders open.

I think Ford’s initial incentive was to generate as many reservations and orders as possible to pump up excitement, get PR, goose up stock price, etc.
Obvious problem is that many of those orders are either going to be cancelled once one is filled or will be kept while people try to resell for profit. This is a bubble that will eventually pop, but I’m not sure we’ll see that for at least a year or so.

Week 1 Reservation July 2021, reorder for 2022 model Jan 21, 2021, and still no communication from Ford. Texted my dealer earlier this week, they have no idea what is going on. I do - this all about allocations to dealerships! I see identical builds to ours, reserved and ordered months after ours getting built! I guess the Bronco is only for those who "know somebody" at a Ford dealership. About to give up on ever getting this vehicle after almost 2 years!

99 your order to keep the price protection! 99 status will also prevent your dealer from building it anyway since we all know that cancelled orders are not actually cancelled by the dealer.

Hope the RNG is nice to everybody today. I'm probably not going to hang out in here today as I don't want to get spun up if past scheduling days are any indication of what's to come. My bday is Saturday...would be great to get an early present.
