Once I got the scheduled for production email on 3/4, delivery was 4/13 to my dealer for 4/14 pick up. Mine went by rail about 600 miles.Anyone know how long has it's been taking for delivery, from schedule build date?

yeah, your fine...it means your order is available to be scheduled and now it's up to Ford to pick you.Got it. Thanks! I’m a code 10. Is that a good thing? You can tell I have no idea what any of this stuff means![]()
All you get at first is build week and VIN. Build date and sticker (and an email) come out several days in advance of that actual build date. With Ford's new policy of only emailing when you have a build date, does that mean each Thursday/Friday they will assign VINs for what's getting built the next week and then repeat the process each Thursday/Friday? I guess what I'm saying is that Ford is not going to assign build dates at the end of this week for all of the scheduled build weeks, correct?
Yes, they are scheduling the build dates and VINs this week for all of the production weeks listed. However, ford is not sending out emails until right before your production week. What this means is you could be scheduled for a production week this Thursday, but ford will not notify you until the week before your scheduled production week. If you want to find out this week, your dealer will have to notify you. With Ford's new policy of only emailing when you have a build date, does that mean each Thursday/Friday they will assign VINs for what's getting built the next week and then repeat the process each Thursday/Friday? Wow, with that many build weeks being set, I can only imagine how many times build weeks/days are going to change over a 2 month span!Yes, they are scheduling the build dates and VINs this week for all of the production weeks listed. I am newer to this and trying to figure out some of the lingo still. What does previewing mean?Got an email from my dealer this morning. My Bronco is previewing today and my fingers are crossed to get a production scheduled this week!! She tells me the preview is for a 6/13 production week. Super stoked as I am 399 days from order conversion (643 days from reservation) and my build has almost all the constrained items. Fingers crossed I'll have a VIN and a production date soon.
Previewing means you have a good chance of being chosen for scheduling, but it's not 100% for sure.I am newer to this and trying to figure out some of the lingo still. What does previewing mean?
I know as of last week my order was ‘clean’ and ‘in process’. I want to reach out to my dealer but want to make sure they will know what I’m talking about when I say ‘previewing’. They are a high volume dealer and seem to have gotten a lot in lately as dealer inventory, or they are just now able to sell the ones they have had on the lot. I don’t have much hope, but gotta have some, right?Previewing means you have a good chance of being chosen for scheduling, but it's not 100% for sure.
On Tuesdays the week when Ford is scheduling production, my (most/all) dealers will get a list of their allocations for that order block that appear to have all the right stock components to build the units on that list. On Thursdays (normally) that list of builds gets firmed up by Ford and orders actually scheduled for production. "Preview" by no means is 100% that an order will actually get scheduled that week, but it is a good chance. "My dealers says" that their experience is better than 80% chance it will get scheduled, but no guarantee. Regardless.....my fingers and toes are crossed for this Thursday!!I am newer to this and trying to figure out some of the lingo still. What does previewing mean?
So ‘previewing’ simply means your Bronco is on the list my dealer received today (Tuesday) of potential Broncos orders out of their dealership that may be scheduled this round? I know nothing is 100% at this point though. On Tuesdays the week when Ford is scheduling production, my (most/all) dealers will get a list of their allocations for that order block that appear to have all the right stock components to build the units on that list.
