It is a risk for sure. I have wheels and tires and numerous other items already in my Garage waiting for my build. Probably $4-5K just waiting to be installed. I am an early reservation holder and no end in sight. I just hope no design changes occur where some of this will no longer fit....and...I hope to not be pushed to MY23 where I suspect they will drop Cyber Orange as my color choice as some of my items I have are color specific.
Create a fund for parts and mods; sure. Maybe not so much buying stuff just yet.
If nothing else, Ford has proven to not be trusted to deliver in a reasonable manner. Do yourselves a favor and don't buy things that'll likely drag beyond a return date should you need to.

Yeah I only broke this rule once. I bought a kinetic rope and shackles, I'm not buying anything vehicle specific until I get a build date.

I made this mistake, ordered some hood struts and a hood sticker then got the upgrade to a raptor. I’m not planing to buy anything else till I actually have a vehicle in my possession.
The only thing I have waiting on my base Bronco to arrive are Badlands take-off wheels and tires. I figured that they don't come up for sale everyday, and certainly not close by, so I jumped.

I pulled the trigger on Badlands coilovers take offs and I am looking to set it up as a "Bad Bend". Like above good deal and they have not been available a lot....but trying not to spend for a vehicle I do not have...

Pretty much anything with a high price is on my radar for a quick deal. What I mean is that I only bought deals that I figured I wouldn't get later. And it's all stuff that is months out, for the most part.
So far just the auto stop eliminator and the Weathertech floor liners and mudflaps. And a tailgate table. But that’s all I swear. Until tomorrow.
I am 100% with you here. Looking for value is where I am at and there is SOME out there.

First time was today. Mud Flaps with points from my son‘s Bronco Sport. Probably floor mats and cargo mats Next. As I get closer probably running boards.

My bumpers are being delivered early. Tomorrow as a matter of fact. They figured it was a 14 to 16 week lead time, but it was done within a week or so…
