We’ll that’s one box of Kilmat that Amazon says weighs 9.3 lbs. So subtract the cardboard and paper instructions and I’m gonna go with 9.1 lbs.

Installed a winch

My winch plate came in yesterday. I'll probably install it next weekend. What did you think of the install?

Sound deadening in the cargo area while I was back there installing 4 pin and fighting rattles. I’ll do the doors and rest of floor soon.

Pretty easy, but I broke two clips, one on each side. The two piece snap clips are pretty damn cheap. Take it easy and use trim panel removal tools. Doors will be super easy, Ive already taken a couple off before fixing my windows getting caught in the weather stripping. Floor boards will be a pain removing seats but I will definitely get around to it.

Interested to know how well it works. I looked into the Dynamat kits and those were unbelievably expensive.

Ordered a 2nd and 3rd set of grab handles for my bronco that I dont have just yet. LOL

I just wanted to share there is another company making paracord grab handles - and they have Area51! They also have Tan/Black that looks like it would go well with my Black/Tan leather. I ordered both. Ill keep you posted! They were responsive and great to work with.

This week I added clear 3M film to the door sills and put the cheap mud flaps on the back. I mounted them where the little “winglets” are on the rear bumper. Wished I would’ve found black hardware to mount the flaps. But they’ll be easy to swap when I do. Couldn’t get them to work up front with the tube steps without cutting a hole and I just didn’t feel like doing that.

The 3M film was a 6”x96” piece from Amazon. Gave me enough to completely screw up one door and still do all 4. I lopped off an inch to make the strip 5” wide and that seemed to be perfect. You could probably put it on at 6”, but I think it would be a pain to get it tucked up under the black plastic piece from the interior.
