There's another bolt right above the B pillar, the website even says it can be in either position.
1. Remove the rear seats.Had to take a pic to convey how not level that back is, and just how cramped anyone would be trying to sleep back there with seats folded down. Tough to see in the photo but roughly 48" straight and 60" diagonal, at best, to where the door would close.
If a 6' person wants to sleep in a 2 door I'm going to suggest yoga, or removing the 2nd row seat and front passenger seat, then building a platform to even it all out, before adding your mattress. Or a RTT (which is my plan once we switch from the LC)

Have you come up with a roof platform solution? For the 2 door with the factory roof rack, I'd like a 72"x54" rack. ARB makes their base rack universal in that size but I don't see how it can mount to the factory crossbars,
Do you know the measurement straight back with both seats all the way forward? Could 2 people fit 5'8"-5'9"?1. Remove the rear seats.

I laid out all my typical car camping gear and it fits perfectly. This is the first or bottom layer which includes my cooler, camp kitchen, tent, and other crap. Soft stuff like sleeping bags and duffles get piled on top of this layer.
I'm coming from a subaru crosstrek which I've done multiple long distance road trips with four people and luggage. The crosstrek cargo volume is 20.8 cf and the bronco 2 door has 22.4 cf, that's with the rear seats upright.
They are almost the same cargo volume just configured differently. The bronco is wider and taller, the subaru cargo area is deeper but shorter.

My plan when the oldest leaves for college is to delete the rear seats. After that no more back seat passengers!

Could you put this cooler longitudinally behind the passenger rear seat or would there be interference and you would have to have the rear seat folded down?
The cargo depth measurements i've seen are all at the floor and not 15 7/8" above the floor.... Will 26 1/2" fit in the cargo area with the seat up? In only 1 of the recline positions or possibly fit in either back-rest position?
Still don't have a VIN, so i'm a ways away, but I absolutely want to have the cooler sorted out before she arrives so I can head out for the first weekend of camping without having to take the beastly-large Yeti 160.
I’m just doing research and anything I’m thinking is speculation since I don’t have my Bronco yet.
