Well! Pleasant surprise yesterday evening, my baby is here!! They took a picture of it on the truck, and I got to go see it pre-PDI so that I could be the first one to sit on the leather seat Going today at 12:45 to pick up!!! I realized 2 things yesterday - 1) I am shorter than I thought (5'5"), this thing is a beast and steps are likely to be ordered soon. 2) I am really bad at taking pictures.
More (hopefully better) pictures to follow
This community has been amazing and has helped me stay (mostly) sane throughout this process. 571 days since day 1 reservation...but who's counting. @Cat thank you for keeping up with the spreadsheet for all of us!

Oh, I sent him all that info. His response is I don't get it because I switched from Wildtrak to OBX. We know that's not true, but not sure how to convince him otherwise.

Not the exact same color as the Bronco, but they look great IMHO.
The amber is just the Emergency Flashers.
I think there is a way to have them as DRL via Forscan.
I have the MandR light kit to install someday soon and I will see if I can get them all working in amber.

So I"m on the phone with Geico now getting my insurance policy set up.....apparently they have a 7 year 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty with my coverage for an additional $140 a year....

That seems like a good deal? Better than the ford flood esp plan....

Nothing special on windshield glass but only a $50 deductible

Interesting, I wonder if its just the assembly line stopping and they will work on clearing out inventory that needs parts, or its a wholesale shutdown waiting for inventory period.

I ASSume this is a std 6 speaker, not B&O? This doesn't surprise me but the only 100% way to know is hook up FDRS and see if it gives the option. They are constantly updating our scan system software and assume there's lag from the software going in current production vehicles and when it actually gets to us. Most of the programming work we do now is VIN specific and downloaded from Ford's servers.

WOW, my dealer started at 3K out here in colorado and has came down to 2500, but i am a bit concerned that the 1st fender bender or rock scrape from 4X4, would render it not at 100% and it would be noticeable. have not had any experience in this area.

Of course, it depends on how much coverage you want and what kind of warranty. We will have a 2-dr, do not want to do the roof and windows coated, and are looking for a 3-5 year warranty. Want a closed shop, not one of the many mobile guys that do the job in your driveway. It seems we're looking at around $1500-1800, less b/c there should be little or no paint correction.

This is a good video wrt expectations. Despite the title, the guy is pro-coating (and is a pro coater). I am clear that I am mainly protecting against the clouds of dust and strafing of bird poop at the ranch. The coatings aren't mean to stand up to serious rock dings.

Yup. These ones should work with the factory harness for the 4 inch speakers- so no splicing wires. I also got harnesses for the 6.5 in the foot well. I will start with the 4s and see how it sounds. I’ve just heard they are crap. I only got the high package not the lux so I got the base 6 speaker system. I also plan on adding in a small sled powered sub like a kicker or jbl.


When I test drove one last year turning on the speakers was not on my mind so I really don’t know how it sounds. But I’m not buying speakers until I actually know my bronco is shipped or delivered.

Nice, I got the lux package and heard the rear two speakers were kind of crappy. But im going to wait to do anything g until I hear it first hand.. I like my music, so I'm joking I don't have to make too many modifications
