Railyard day 13. I feel bad for anyone who has to be around me.
I hear ya. It was 12 days for me.
Interesting note on mine,
The tracker ALWAYS said like 15-28 days average transit time in the little upper paragraph.

Sure enough, 23 days total. Ten on the train. 12 at the yard. A day on the truck.

So are you past the 28 days yet?

So it’s a few days past the average as of today. I hear all the frustrations; I get it. 100%.

And, it looks like it won’t have been that far off of their estimate actually.

(I just want you to love that sucker as much as I do mine ☺)

Thanks for the links. Did you get your Bronco yet, and if so, did you get the price protection money? Did they just deduct it from your total?

I originally ordered a Badlands, but changed it to the Base. According to the link you posted, I still get the money as if it was a Badlands because I didn't change my order until after they took the snapshot.

I'm just wondering if the dealer automatically keeps all of the rebate now because you know... "inflation" or what. 🤷‍♀️ Thanks!
No Bronco...in Purgatory.

From what i have read, its deducted at time of sale.

For you 12/20 First Batch mates who are in Purgatory...

Here is the Purgatory Party Sad Song for today.

Where oh where, can our Broncos be?

<inspired by Queen>

We've paid our our deposit
We've configured our truck
We reserved at the launch but still
We don't have any fortune or luck

We are in Purgatory, my Friends
And we will keep waiting till the end
We are in Purgatory
We are in Purgatory
We'll always be tracking
'Cause we're in Purgatory... held by Ford

And we mean to wait
day by day by day by day

The wait is hard
I'm not gonna lie
The dreams of a Bronco and buying accessories for it
Means our wallets are bone-dry

But through it all
We will prevail
And soon we'll be driving our Broncos
Through the wind, sleet and hail

We are in Purgatory, my Friends
And we will keep waiting till the end
We are in Purgatory
We are in Purgatory
We'll always be tracking
Cause we're in Purgatory... held by Ford

Where oh where, can our Broncos be?

If it were a production issue or a quality control issue, I would understand, but it was built quickly and shipped almost immediately afterward. The fact that it has been sitting 60 miles from me (50 from the dealership) for 13 days and counting is what’s pissing me off. I want to love my bronco too, but all it brings me is frustration and anger.

Shipping issues are one of the leaders in the clubhouse on worldwide fuckery right now.
Just sayin. None of us are wise to expect the delivery part to be the quickest.

Best of luck friend

Progress! My dealer gave me a rail car #, I just called the CSX hotline and it is on Ohio now. Ohio is a long way from Georgia, but at least it isn't at MAP any longer.
For me it took a little over a week to get from Detroit to ATL on CSX.

When my Bronco got to the rail yard I called my dealer. He said the place was so massive and had so many other things than FORD vehicles that calling would be a waste of time. He said that he called one time to try and locate a vehicle and the person on the phone laughed at him and hung up. Hang in there, good luck

I’m not really sure why we can’t just go pick them up at the rail yard. I can think of several reasons: can’t put miles on the odometer, needs to be checked out by a technician before being released for the customer to drive it…but I have a car trailer. What if I went and got it, and towed it to my dealership? What would their excuse be? Liability for damage in transit? Hell, it has already been on my insurance policy for a month. I’ll sign a fcking waiver, I don’t care, just give me my fcking bronco already.
The vehicles are shipped in 'Transportation mode' plus the dealer has to add their bits and pieces. You may be better able to handle some of the mechanical things but I wouldn't be comfortable driving my Bronco until it as serviced by the dealer especially with all the issues related to loose hoses and parts. But I do get the frustration.

Not sure about your specific case but I received a credit at signing for the MY22 MSRP hike and the MOD HD bumper on my Badlands. And I said no to the VIN etched glass! lol
