Actually, what the Ford e-mail today said was, "We had hoped to surprise every customer with a picture of their Bronco™ as it was exiting the assembly line, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances at the plant, yours was missed. We guess it was ready to hit the off-road and couldn't hold still for a photo."

Well, a lot has changed since 12:14 pm. Got a text from my dealer tonight that said, “I got some news today. I’m sorry, but it’s looking like your truck won’t be here until end of Feb.”

And then she sent this…

She’s here! Going to the dealer on my lunch break to chat about financing, already pre-approved with another lender too just in case I don’t love the Ford rates.

CONGRATS.. But that doesnt look safe up there..Looks like baby may fall...

I asked this on another thread (I think Black Diamond Thread), because I have the capable bumper. I was told they do fit. I'm ordering some...just can't decide on the color for my EG....black, silver, or a little statement with white.

Here is the tracking info from an earlier thread by an ? administrator. This worked fine for me this p.m. PM me if it doesn't make sense or doesn't work.

"There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the Mississippi
UP is everything west of the Mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once [CSX has] it in their system, they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use the automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person, please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, say location.
3. When prompted for the [rail]car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the [rail]car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number completely and clearly (example CN123456) letters and numbers all together
4. Listen for your update" /end quote from earlier thread

I'd have almost cried and then been immediately furious that she messed with me, and then relaxed some..but still hated her.

UPDATE- my bronco left Baltimore and should be arriving at Chester, PA any minute. From there I’m assuming it’s a stop and Philly and then on to NJ.

I have to say, after this crazy, yearlong journey there is something weirdly comforting about the fact that as I sleep tonight my bronco is traveling closer to its final destination. Excited to see if we are in NJ by morning

They maybe updated now. But when I received the call, they were unchanged.

I immediately called her and said, SHUT UP. With how crazy this ride has been and how many people have been livid with her, it was kind of nice knowing she feels comfortable enough to tease me but yes, almost cried. I have a feeling that’s going to happen tomorrow.
