Bronco hardtop (is it fixed?)

Took delivery of our First Edition late November, here is what our hardtop looks and sounds like… anyone experiencing the same thing?

Took delivery 12/8. No hardtop problems at all.

The popping or snapping noise can be fixed with putting foam into the pegs. There is a good thread you can search on to see how to fix the top issue. It's a 25 cents fix.

Had several scratches in it from factory. Color is only on thin outside layer, as if anything at all brushes against it, the white underneath is exposed and looks terrible (definitely not color throughtout as i was told). Seems like the top has a very thin, superficial outside painted coating on a white product and sadly it is all ready not wanting to stay laminated.

So No, I'm ready for the painted modular top that it was supposed to have originally, or an actually improved mic 3.0.

Mic 2.0 is not a solution nor is it acceptable on a $60k unit.

Yup. The top on my two door is awesome and no funny noises in the first 700 miles so far!

Yeah that’s crazy! The glue and scratches from the factory are my most frustrating problems with it. The dealer did say they would cover it under warranty.

That's probably because it doesn't have the second panel that the noise seems to come from.

So did mine, but when and do we even get a better top?? Another mic 2.0 top isn't the answer. And I haven't heard of an improved top that supercedes the mic 2.0.

Agree, shouldn’t have to fix it on a new vehicle. Although I would rather deal with these little problems and have it here now vs waiting longer.
