I asked my dealer about Price Protection and was told they were aware that I qualified for the program and it's built into the price.
The Customer Satisfaction Fund, however, appears to be more myth than reality.

My dealer said I could have $200 for customer satisfaction fund. Better than nothing I guess.
Well, we can at least be grateful neither of us is purchasing in Chicago for 9.5%Me, too!!!

I don't miss the Chicago taxes, I lived there for 10 years and bought a couple of vehicles during that time. Not a good feeling adding 10% to the purchase price.Well, we can at least be grateful neither of us is purchasing in Chicago for 9.5%

I’ve been here for 40 + and the taxes r the worst. I refuse to make any large purchases in the city. Can’t wait to retire and leave.

Price protection is more miss than hit. Check out the screenshots in this post for the best info I've seen on the program to date. Technically, FoMoCo is supposed to provide eligible customers with a physical direct mail "Certificate". If your experience is like mine (and several others), the dealer will not be able to process the claim without the number on said mythical certificate.
Sounds like @knownhuman and perhaps others have dealers that are willing to front the protection and fight Ford for the claim on the behalf of their customers - but I would not expect that to be the norm based on my experience.

I reserved too late for Price Protection, but in regards to the customer satisfaction fund, i talked to my dealer about it. They told me they were given almost nothing per Bronco, so what they decided to do was put together a swag bag for reservation holders.
