Anyone install Jump Seat in cargo area?

Has anyone investigated or installed a jump seat in the cargo area of the 4 door? Please don't tell me it's not legal or safe.

Jump seats haven't been installed since 1939. The rear facing seats, like in a road master station wagon, has been a no go for quite some time as well. I do not recommend trying a DYI approach to this idea.

Mini trucks of the 90s would make good seat donors, a lot of them had sideways jump seats.

A jeep rear bench seat might work rear facing too, those are pretty compact.

I remember my dad having a 70's ford colony park wagon with the rear facing 3rd row,we would sit back there givin the bird and making faces on the back window.people would pass being all mad for some reason?

I see the difference. The OP was obviously referring to rear facing "jump seats" as Tesla owners call them.

I can see that now. But i dont think there is enough room in the cargo area for rear facing seats. Unless, for kids that are 10-12 years old and 3 feet tall
