Sounds like you want the Sas look, not the Sas package. Sas look is easy but if you want the capability then you need the front and rear lockers and gearing in addition to the suspension and tires. I'm not sure you can really do that inexpensively.

I’m more function over form. I will end up later on changing the suspension and wheels and tires. Just trying to pick people’s brains.

I got the sas package for the lockers and transfer case.

I'm sure you car will look better with the bigger tires, so I say go for it.
