They do change the aero's of the Bronco. Those that have them, try to use your windshield squirter above 60mph. The fluid won't even hit the glass. Slow down and it's business as usual.

It protects the leading edge of the hood from suffering paint chips. That is all. The supposed aerodynamic benefits of deflecting bugs and road debri is stuff of urban legend. They do work wonders on protecting the hood paint and well worth the cost.
