I am running with a the stock 4.7 but the portals are a 1.22 reduction giving me an effective 5.71 with 40s.... It feels damn near stock. You do feel the additional mass that needs to be turned though....
Except for the fact that the skids are unsprung weight and will not effect load capacity..... Or I missed another inside joke.... Which seems to be a weighty subject.
I will admit... that looks pretty damn robust! I guess my biggest question though is why does it need a lash adjuster?..... I know the manufacturer has his reasons. I would just like to know what they were. I would be curious about the new bushings as well. How are they different than the...
You sir are absolutely correct. I do not know the design criteria, the materials selected, or even the required mating tolerances of the rack and pinion.

remember this is...
The Portals do phenomenally well. I actually like the added weight. It is only a problem when you are running very fast over a very rough surface so if you plan on bombing the desert I recommend wither a wild track with no lift or if you can afford it a raptor.... I do trail running which is at...
Beacause you pointed this out before I have started using Sasq or SASQ..... I thought you made a good point because there have been a few SASs on here and many more calling for them... Although I just point to a Jeep and say... there you go.... I like my IFS!
Jim, I think your problem is proportion. The "galloping" steed on the Mustang works because proportionally it is rectangular and the grill is relatively rectangular. The "Bucking Bronco" is relativity square - ish ... It probably could be done well but I think it might be difficult. You would...
Every time right?.... Still my favorite comment was yelled at me in an intersection...
"so much nicer than the new ones!"..... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: 😁 :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
