Iām really digging your rig! Great photos too. Been planning on getting black letters for the grille on my Badlands when it comes in, and surprisingly yours is the only one with that combo out of the hundreds Iāve seen on here. Did you go with the overlays from Ford (the $110 option, not the $50...
Lots of fun reading through this thread. Enjoyed taking the trip down memory lane with yāall.
My Tesla Model 3 LR w/acceleration boost is pretty dang fun to drive. The overall build quality has been quite a letdown and I canāt wait to swap it out for my Badlands, but itās got one hell of a...
That sounds about right. I wonāt be wasting my mental energy on trying to crack the code of Fordās logic. Iām curious what would happen if they donāt start my build before the announcement of the next model year, though. Maybe I would get a ā25 at the ā24 priceā¦my only concern with that is they...
I just ordered my 2 door MT Badlands on Wednesday (5/15) and was told it would take 6-9 months. Looks like some of you are getting your Broncos much, much sooner than that. Do 2 doors and/or MTs typically take that much longer to build?
Right on. I was worried something might look off without the front camera. But after looking at some other pics for the same PN, the spacing between all letters looks the same so it should work well with or without the camera. Thanks mate
Hey @broncorik , did you have to pop out a piece of the grille to fit the camera in there? In your first pic of the uninstalled grille it looks like thereās a flat piece of plastic between the O and R. (Iām hoping thatās the case because the Badlands I ordered doesnāt have lux package/front camera).
Will be taking delivery of my 2dr Badlands this summer. Top priorities are Bilstein 6100s, 35ā A/Ts, polished bullet-hole wheels (leaning towards Pro Comp series 69), body-match paint for the MIC top, and some heavy tint for the Florida sun.
I think I settled on 35s now. I really want the look of a lift with some nice chunky tires, but donāt want to sacrifice all of my on-road performance, so that seems like a good balance.
Appreciate the insight. Iām having second thoughts about going up to 37s. This will primarily be an on-road vehicle, and Iād be pretty upset if itās a dog.
Iāll be coming from a Tesla (which I hate more and more by the day, except for the instant acceleration) and Iāve come to appreciate its...
Thanks for clearing that up. I read some other posts that also said non-SAS Badlands comes with a 4.46 ratio, and I was confused because my build on the Ford site shows 4.7
Right on. Nice looking rig! Your lift/tires are a lot like what Iām looking for. Also planning on the FP tune (hope itās available for 2024s by the time I take delivery). As someone else pointed out, the m/t non-SAS comes with 4.7 gearing, so between that and the tune Iāll try running 37s...
