Ok so seems I took for granted that one would be making the factory opening bigger. Seems this is incorrect and all a person would be doing is removing the factory grill and drilling holes for the larger grill. Is this assumption correct?
After reviewing the install guide to work with the slide out tailgate the bottom bracket would have to bolt to the cargo floor “without” the use of a spacer. This way it could mount underneath the slide out tailgate or any storage system. So the bottom bracket would need to be a bit longer...
I’ll likely get another Bronco if I sell so I would take it with me because of the price tag. I’m on Bronco #6.
Did you take pics of the install. I haven’t seen any posts about folks drilling the holes wrong and would like to avoid that is possible.
Ok thank you. Is it because the slide out tailgate would touch the bottom of the enclosure or because the bracket is curved? The slide out tailgate mount to the same anchor point on the cargo floor and some washers or nylon spacers might make it fit. Has the team tried or did they just eyeball...
@Switchworks_Kyle does this also work with the slideout tailgate accessory from ford? It’s standard in the Everglades model as well.
Here it is for reference:

Edit: I see the Everglades listed on your site in the comparability...
So with the stealthbox do you absolutely have to make the speaker grill opening bigger? I thought I saw somewhere that someone didn’t do it and it was fine. I don’t like the cloth and also have a bad habit of moving on from cars in less than a year or two so I didn’t want to cut the side panel.
@plugnplaykits Does this new kit receive the signal from the stock rear pods, or from the center channel, kick panel or something else?
Also do these pods work for the Bronco Raptor?
Lastly, I see a B&O sub harness, where does this receive signal from?
Do FMI collars mount the same as RPG? Meaning, do you have to remove the oem snap ring on the shock and the new collar has an inner lip that serves as a built in snap ring? Or does FMI collars just sit above the oem snap rings basically serving as a spacer?
I’m on my 8th Bronco I know how it all works. You have way too much energy lol. Especially on a topic that has already been resolved. Not responding anymore have a good weekend.
